Hillcrest Café’s 3rd Anniversary Special was extra special because of the unique classical guitar performance of Iqui Vinculado, with guest soprano, Charlene Ramos. The Sunday evening of March 26 was filled with inspiring, meaningful, and moving music from the heart of artists who were not only gifted and skilled in their field of performing arts, but we also had an audience who responded with awe at beautiful performance coupled with the very cozy environment that Hillcrest Café has.
“It was an end and a beginning of something new for me, “ Classical guitarist Iqui said. Because she is about to embark from a guitar trio to a solo career so there will be many “unknown” experiences in the near future but she is still positive that these will be “beautiful” because the God who is her Guide is “Never Far.” She wrote a guitar arrangement of the original composition “Never Far” by JulieAnne Tarroja who also shared a couple of her songs that evening.
What a way to celebrate another successful year at Hillcrest Café!
